Heritage Open Day: Land drainage pumping station built in 1938 housing two Ruston 9XHRC Diesel engines driving Gwynnes pumps, each pump capable of moving 100 tons of water per minute. Come and learn about its history. The station was restored and is maintained by volunteers initially under the guidance of the late Dennis Quincey, the drainage board renaming the station in his memory. One engine will be run at various times during both days.
