Northamptonshire Battlefields Society at Delapre Abbey
Heritage Open Day: Visit the Northamptonshire Battlefields Society at the Coach House at Delapre Abbey on the 8th September to learn more about the County's violent history Come and join us to find out about Northamptonshire's pivotal role in the Wars of the Roses. Talk to our volunteers about what happened, see detailed models of our battlefields and handle replica period equipment. Walks around the 1460 battlefield will be led by our expert guides every half an hour, subject to demand, starting from 11am.
