St Swithin's Church Open Day

Heritage Open Day: A rare opportunity to visit a beautiful village church and chat to our local experts about its fascinating history. Come and enjoy the tranquillity of our beautiful 12th century Grade II* listed village church.

St Swithin's has many fine architectural features stretching from the 12th to 15th centuries, including a Norman font, a 19th century font and pulpit by Cox of London, a small but beautiful window in the north elevation dating to 1190 and stunning stained glass in both the Chancel and south aisle – the latter being by Kempe, dated 1877.

You will be made very welcome, so please come and enjoy some quiet time in this very pretty and remarkable village church.
