Jordans Mill Connections Tour
Heritage Open Day: Come along and explore Jordans Mill; a food heritage attraction with a lovingly restored historic water Mill, beautiful gardens, gift shop and Riverside Cafe. During a short tour, you'll discover how flour was once produced. At Jordans Mill you can step back in time during your tour of our historic flour Mill, home to the Jordan family since 1893. You'll discover how near tragedy from two devastating fires was overcome and see the mill machinery in action. There will be an opportunity to explore the historical importance of the River Ivel connecting Mills in Bedfordshire to the ports for trade. You will also discover how the very first railway station in Bedfordshire opened up access to London.
