Cottenham Dissenters' Cemetery

Heritage Open Day: Delve into the Cemetery's past, explore informational displays and engage with Trustees to discover the intriguing life stories of some of those laid to rest here. The Dissenters' Cemetery is a beautiful Victorian burial ground in the Village of Cottenham, established in 1845 as a final resting place for local Nonconformists (Dissenters). Today, it is maintained and managed by dedicated volunteer trustees for the benefit of everyone in Cottenham.

Join us in the tranquil surroundings, to learn about the cemetery's origins and history. Discover Victorian grave symbology and the meanings behind their designs. There will also be an opportunity to learn about some of the notable graves found here, including the CWGC War Graves.
