Routes to our past at the Maeldune Heritage Centre
Heritage Open Day: Explore the routes to our past through the stunning Maldon Embroidery by creating your own map of Maldon Join us for a fun filled family activity.
Use the embroidery to uncover Maldon’s historic sites.
Using our walking guides, map templates and stickers, explore the town - find the sites and add them to your map as you go.
You can return to the Centre to colour/embellish your map or decorate it at home.
Why not add your own favourite places around Maldon e.g. where you ate a nice lunch or enjoyed an ice cream, where you saw a cool insect, bird or anything that made you smile. Personalise your map to create a wonderful keepsake of your day. Making a map has never been so much fun.
