Heritage Open Day: A rare opportunity to visit the Grade I listed 11th/12th century St Leonards Church In Bengeo, Hertford. Described by Pevsner as a rare example of a virtually intact Norman village church You can enjoy this church - which is normally closed - and see its treasures, including medieval wall paintings and tiles and Georgian monuments. Stewards will be available to answer questions and guide you to the main features. If you are bringing children, a treasure hunt and colouring are available to help them enjoy the visit.
