Cromer Signal Box
Heritage Open Day: A signal box where visitors can operate levers and see signals and points work. At this Grade II listed signal box, the lever frame is complete as in the 1960s, and visitors can operate it. On the grounds are working signals and points, all renovated by local volunteers. It is now an outpost of the North Norfolk Railway. Trains pass within feet on their way in and out of Cromer station. We have an old permanent way hut, with interesting tools, sections of railway and signalling history and artefacts on the grounds.
