Dereham Windmill
Heritage Open Day: Dereham Windmill is a Grade II listed windmill set in extensive grounds with a picnic area. On each of the five floors there are illustrated explanations on what happened in each area, when the mill was full of noise and floor dust. Dereham Windmill is a historical landmark at the heart of the local community. Volunteers and trustees work tirelessly to keep the Windmill open for the community to explore and enjoy. The historical windmill is situated on beautiful grounds with plenty of green and open space for children to play, enjoy picnics, and take in the view. We are lucky enough to have a cafe onsite, providing delicious homemade cakes, light lunches and drinks to enjoy.
