Hanse House
Heritage Open Day: Unique historic survival. Behind the 18th-century street façade is a building of great interest, the Hanseatic Warehouse (late 15th-century) running down to the river. There is a quadrangle formed by two parallel warehouse ranges closed by a shorter range. The Hanseatic League owned these buildings which were demanded as part of the Treaty of Utrecht in 1474. The only extant Hanseatic building in England.
