Heritage Open Day: A visit to this town, the capital city of East Anglia during the Roman Period, (ROMANS) and the geocaching trail will open your eyes to How The Romans Lived, as well as being a beautiful natural space for wildlife. From Caistor Roman Town to Burgh Castle and on to St Benet's Abbey, this event is part of 3 iconic heritage sites in Norfolk that will host a geocache challenge for everyone to enjoy. To celebrate HOD's 30th Anniversary, we invite everyone to travel the route, network together and make connections to their cultural past. You can participate in as much or as little as you like, just get out in the fresh air, learn something new and enjoy the beauty of these special places.
