The Flint Room
Heritage Open Day: The Flint Room, residing in St John De Sepulchre Church, is a one of Norwich's little hidden gems. The Flint Room is one of Norwich’s most exciting licensed venues for celebrating a wide range of non-religious ceremonies. It resides inside a beautiful medieval (deconsecrated) Church incorporating the history of Norwich and bringing happiness and celebration back into the magnificent building. A Church that is not a Church!
A little piece of history... the building’s former name was St John De Sepulchre (also St John The Theologian) and was situated close to one of old Norwich’s City gates. It may very well be the best known of all the Norwich churches and rides high on the bluff of Ber Street. The top of its tower was once the highest point in the city.
The former Church will be open for HODs week so please come along and take a look at the beautiful historic building which has been carefully brought back to life.
