'Bee-Roads'

Heritage Open Day: A fun trail designed for children - learn about the beehives at the Cathedral, and follow the 'Bee-Roads' as you discover the numerous saints who are connected with bees! The Cathedral has its own collection of beehives, and its own team of bees! On this 'Bee-Roads' trail learn about the paths that our bees take to-and-from their hives to pollinate our flowers.

You will also about the life of the bee, and how their journeys can relate to our faith. Created by God, with a unique role in His Creation, bees are incredibly important for our ecosystem, biodiversity, and the world God created for us to live in.

Bees also appear repeatedly in Sacred Scripture, in one way or another.
