Heritage Open Day: Visit the Museum of the Broads for free! Discover the stories of the Broads, its history and heritage. Films and activities for all ages. Cyclists, walkers, families and dogs very welcome. Broads themed shop and small cafe. Picnic area by river. Discover how people have lived and worked in the Norfolk and Suffolk Broads. Our stories take you from Roman times, meeting peat diggers, marsh workers and early tourists, holiday makers, sailors and environmentalists of today. Many items on display are unique and include some of the area’s most iconic boats. There are films to watch, activities for all ages, and trails to do too.
