Norwich Synagogue
Heritage Open Day: Come and visit our beautiful Synagogue with its beautiful windows which give the building its feeling of peace. There will be a display about the history of the Jewish people from Medieval times to the present as well as three talks during the day. The Norwich Synagogue has been on its present site since 1948 and the present building was built in 1968. It has a history in Norwich which goes back to medieval times and this will be illustrated in our exhibition and talks when you visit us. We shall have members on hand to answer any questions you may have about the Jewish religion or way of life or its history. Refreshments will be available.
