Heritage Open Day: A unique Victorian School living history museum. Visitors are invited to take part in a lesson, including the chance to write on slates and with dip pens. Miss North may also add victorian music on the melodian and harmonium! Or play outside with hoops, tops and many other reproduction toys in the meadow.
The School was built in 1840 and now has school children visiting to spend a day as children in the Victorian era. Enjoy this special open day, where all visitors can see the school and also the museum of childhood with many genuine Victorian items. Free tea and coffee and cakes will be available.
