Heritage Open Day: Former Wesleyan Methodist Chapel, also village school until 1965. Now community owned/run shop, cafe and heritage centre. Special display of material showing history of the building. Guided walk leaflet to/from the Quaker Meeting House. Refreshments A much loved and used building, which was also the main school in the village until a new one was built in 1965. Built in 1872 as a replacement (on a different site) for the first Wesley Methodist Chapel (where John Wesley himself preached). It closed in 2020 and was bought by the community.
