Heritage Open Day: A beautiful Victorian church near the banks of the River Wansbeck. A glorious church of 1850 with stained glass windows by the renowned William Wailes. An icon of St Robert is incorporated into the stained glass of the Sanctuary. There is a marble memorial for those who fell in the First World War.
Church members will be on hand to give information about St Roberts and its most important features.
There are booklets available on the history of the church and of its statues.
