National Glass Centre: Guided Tours and free craft activities to celebrate People's Art
Heritage Open Day: Visit the National Glass Centre in Sunderland on Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 for guided tours and craft activities to celebrate the history of glass making in Sunderland and People's Art. National Glass Centre would like to invite you to join us for free guided tours of the building on Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 September. Find out about the history of glass making in Sunderland, take in our exhibitions, including People’s Art - bringing together popular art and contemporary craft, and a new display of glass by British artists in our Collection Gallery. View the atmospheric and insightful photographs and artworks from renowned artist Ian Macdonald in Fixing Time in the Northern Gallery for Contemporary Art gallery.
