Heritage Open Day: Crewe is at the heart of the British Transport Network. Join us for a fun packed day for all the family to discover how the people of Crewe have kept the country running by rail, road and air. Our annual Crewe Heritage Fair will be exploring Crewe's routes, networks and connections!
Join us to discover the groups working to protect Crewe’s heritage:
• The Crewe Railway Cottages Residents Association will be exploring how the Railway Company created a town around their Engineering Works.
• The Crewe & District Military Vehicles Group will showcase Crewe’s role in the development of wartime tanks, merlin engines and much more.
• Alstom will focus on how Crewe still plays a fundamental role in the railway network.
