From Chorley to America with the Pilgrim Fathers
Heritage Open Day: Visit St Laurence's Parish Church in Chorley to hear of our history of serving the local community since the 13th Century, and how Miles Standish, one of the Pilgrim Fathers, used to worship here with his family. Our historic church will be open on Saturday 14th September. There will be activities, a treasure trail, displays from many of our church organisations, and guided tours. We will also have a musical recital by organist John Hoskin, refreshments on sale, and the chance to ring one of our church bells.
