Luneside Open Weekend
Heritage Open Day: Visit Luneside Artists Studios. Meet the artists, view our group exhibition, explore studio spaces and see work in progress. This will be an opportunity to learn about the history of the studios and contribute to our fundraising by purchasing items. Established in 1983, Luneside Studios is one of the longest-running artist studio groups in the North West. The initial site was located on the second floor of St. George’s Works on St. George’s Quay, Lancaster. Following the proposed redevelopment of the area around Luneside East, including St. George’s Works, the Studios relocated to 26 Castle Park in 2008. We currently provide affordable studio space for 14 artists. The work produced includes painting, drawing, illustration, printmaking, 3D work, collage, photography and design. A
s part of HODs 2024, the Studios will be open to the public between 1200 and 1800 on Saturday 14th September and between 1200 and 1600 on Sunday 15th September.
