Heritage Open Day: Rebuilt in Art Deco-Style in the 1930’s, Climb the Escher like staircase to see artists at work in their studios. You can see a special exhibition of artists completed work and work in-progress. There is also the chance to join free taster workshops. Routes – Networks – Connections are themes which resonates throughout the history of art and creative processes. The theme is also relevant to our work as an arts organisation; our strap line is ‘Connect Share Create’. We feel that art in all its forms is a crucial component of what makes us stand apart from all other living organisms. Art connects us not only to our local communities but also to national and global culture and heritage.
