Preston Masonic Hall - 80 years on Saul Street

Heritage Open Day: Freemasons moved into Saul Street in September 1944. They brought furnishings that now dates back over 200 years. Tour the whole of the building guided by Masons in full dress regalia Visit the FREE local artists and photographers exhibition Preston Masons have occupied the Saul Street site for 80 years in September. Over those years the Hall has developed from a disused Church and Sunday School to a 1950's masterpiece. The 1862 Sunday School survives in the heart of the building. The church is long gone as are Armitage's Soap Works and a row of cottages. Let Freemasons guide you around the Masonic Rooms and explain the colourful interiors whilst wearing their splendid full dress regalia.
