No:7 Bottle Shop - Cannington Shaw
Heritage Open Day: Come and enjoy getting up close and personal with an heritage icon of the glass industry. Be amongst the first in many years to see and touch this unique building. No: 7 Bottle Shop - Cannington Shaw is all that now remains of what was once the largest glass bottle manufacturing site in the world. It is believed by Historic England to be the most intact example of a late 19th century Bottle Shop. On Saturday 7th September 2024 the public will have a chance to enter the compound and view this incredible piece of industrial archaeology for the first time in over 50 years.
