Substantially rebuilt 1869-70. Oldest surviving masonry in north Chancel aisle and
vestry. Houses rare Norse Hogback stone. Tower 1492-1530, eight bells. Stained-glass
windows by Charles Kempe (1837-1907). Fine pipe organ originally built by Henry Willis.
Tours of Church. Tours of the tower and ringing chamber may be available.
For safety purposes children visiting the tower must be accompanied by an adult.
It is hoped that the organ will be played during the day by some of our organists.
