Interwoven Tales: Embracing Diversity in Diaspora Exhibition

Heritage Open Day: A profound exploration of displacement depicted by refugees. Shared stories, forged bonds, and redefined safety through embroidery, each piece tells a unique story, forming a narrative of resilience and unity. Supported and funded by Arts Council England, this exhibition is the resault of a yearlong project aims to bring about the unique voices of Refugee Support Group (RSG) members. At the heart of the project lies a profound exploration of displacement – what it truly means to be uprooted from one's familiar surroundings and thrust into the unknown. Through our weekly drop in sessions participants wereinvited to share their stories, grapple with their emotions, and forge bonds with one another.
