George Fox 400 Exhibition
Heritage Open Day: George Fox, an early leader of Quakerism, would be turning 400 this year and Quakers in Britain and around the world are celebrating! Visit Jordans Meeting House to learn more about George Fox and other early Quakers. Information panels and short film clips will share more about George Fox, how he revolutionised religion in 17th-century England and his relevance today.
Also take a tour of the historic, 1688 built, Quaker Meeting House, and visit the final resting place of William Penn, early Quaker and founder of Pennsylvania.
You are invited to end your visit with tea and scones to help us celebrate George Fox's life.
