St Mary’s Church Shenley Church End Open Day
Heritage Open Day: We are open for MK HODs and the Historic Churches Ride+Stride. Come to explore 800 years of history within our church. Allow about 30 minutes to see our displays and join a mini tour, then soak up the atmosphere in a quiet moment. A warm welcome awaits at St Mary’s Church Shenley. We turned 800 last year which prompted an ongoing history project, the fruits of which are displayed on panels around the nave – tracking our history through the centuries, from the first recorded rector in 1223 to the present day.
A mini guided or self-guided tour will introduce you to the many historic features of the church – ancient graffiti, stained glass, architecture and memorials.
