A single aisle parish church built in 13th C to serve the village of Broughton. Blessed with historic 15th C wall paintings which can be seen on Google Capture. Chained books from the Reformation by Erasmus and Bishop Jewel. Victorian stained glass by Gibbs and Kempe probably the most famous makers of their time. Owned and maintained by the Churches Conservation Trust and cared for the Friends of St Lawrence. This is a time capsule of social, religious and political history.
