Sutton Transformed: St. Nicholas at 160
Heritage Open Day: This exhibition and a series of history walks and talks will explore change and continuity in science, technology and culture in Sutton since the building of the new Church. The exhibition will be created in collaboration with local groups, capturing oral history, sharing objects and designing the content. It will include a discussion of how science has, directly and indirectly, impacted religious faith in Sutton from the Theory of Evolution to the creation of stained glass and technology of music. There have been profound cultural shifts some obvious and some that are hidden and taken for granted.
