Heritage Open Day: Visit St. Mary's to discover some of the hidden stories behind the people who have lived and worshipped nearby through rarely seen artifacts and documents. Our bells and their history will be revealed with a chance to 'have a go' at bellringing. There will be a self-guided tour of stories and artifacts relating to people who have worshipped at St. Mary's and lived in our local communities. There will also be a leaflet available about our 6 Commonwealth War Graves, and other notable burials. Some parish records and magazines dating back to the late 19th century will be available to view. Refreshments will be available.
