Staunton Country Park

Heritage Open Day: Leigh Park then and now
Come and explore maps to discover whether your road was part of Sir George Staunton's huge estate in the 19th century! The Staunton Country Park Heritage Hub have been investigating the local area of Leigh Park and the 19th century estate may of influence the estate we see today.
The exhibition will be on display will be available from the Coach House reception for the duration of the festival. Members from the Hub will be on site during the weekend of 14-15 September to answer any questions or if you wish to share your own history with the estate.
