Village History and Heritage exhibition
Heritage Open Day: The Village Heritage Model , designed by Peter Goss in 2014 and portraying our village in the run up to D-day 1944, will be on display in the Church-on-the-Green, alongside an exhibition about Village history. Rowlands Castle History and Heritage will be displaying their D Day model on 7th and 8th September in The Church on the Green for Heritage Open Days. There will be an accompanying display telling the story of the Village in the run up to D day in words and pictures, including oral recordings of villager experiences. There will be other displays telling the history of the village including a Heritage trail around the Green, a pictorial history of the village and information about the Castle. Children's activities will also be available.
