Heritage Open Day: Enjoy a different movie night where we will be appreciating Railway journeys, featuring Michael Portillo, surrounded by the historical Victorian atmosphere of our lovely St. Denys church! Enjoy watching episode of ‘Great British Railway Journeys’ on the 12th September from 2030. In the first episode, Michael Portillo embarks on a train Journey from Coventry to Leamington spa. In Coventry, Michael recalls the destruction by the German Luftwaffe of the city’s gothic cathedral in November 1940. Heading south to Royal Leamington Spa, Michael visits the Guide Dogs for the Blind National Centre, established in the town in 1941.
