Heritage Open Day: Join one of our volunteer guides for a walk in the footsteps of Netley's staff and patients, or pick up one of our Royal Victoria Heritage Trail booklets* and explore the site at your own speed. (* 30 available each day, 1st come-1st served.) Join one of our volunteer guides for a walk around the country park and find hidden traces of the Royal Victoria Hospital. Follow in the footsteps of Netley's staff and patients, learn their stories and discover the fascinating history of this unique site. This walk is approximately 2.5km and will take 1.5-2 hours. Some of the paths, particularly through the woodland areas, may be muddy.
