Free Entry - Newport Roman Villa
Heritage Open Day: Newport Roman Villa will be open free of charge on Friday 6 September. Come and explore the incredible remains of this third century Roman farmhouse. Situated within a modern housing estate Newport Roman Villa provides a well preserved example of a winged corridor villa. The site has a well preserved bath suite with cold and hot baths. There is a museum display area, small shop and Roman garden. The site has an activity room where visitors can make a mosaic, build an arch or reconstruct a pot.
