Ditton Heritage Centre and Victorian Classroom
Heritage Open Day: Ditton Heritage Centre invites you to step back in time to find out more about us and the history of the village of Ditton. Our volunteers will welcome you to our Victorian classroom and introduce you to our collection of local historical resources. Ditton Heritage Centre will be hosting two open days and inviting visitors to join us for a taste of our restored Victorian classroom and light refreshments. As well as recreating the atmosphere of a bygone age in education, complete with blackboards, chalk and cane, the centre also boasts a number of displays exploring different aspects of the history of the village of Ditton, which can be traced back to the Domesday Book in 1086.
