Birchington Map Exhibition
Heritage Open Day: A collection of original and reproduced maps from the Birchington Heritage Trusts archives will be on display for all to see. With Ordnance Survey maps dating back to 1872, information on former surveying methods, lost buildings/sites of interest, and the feature 1840 Tithe Map on display, this event will not want to be missed by people living in, or having connections with the local area. This year we are growing our exhibition to include maps of Kent, showing how Birchington's transport links changed over the years.
