Fordwich Town Hall
Heritage Open Day: A medieval town hall in the beautiful and ancient port on the River Great Stour, two miles downstream from the City of Canterbury in Kent. Dating from 1544, this is a must see building for anyone interested in the history of Canterbury and beyond. This Cinque Port of Fordwich played a major role in the shipping of French sandstone from Cairn in France and used to build Canterbury Cathedral.
