A Soldier's life in the Great War

Heritage Open Day: To commemorate the 110th anniversary of the outbreak of the Great War, 1914-18, the Centre for Experimental Military Archaeology (CEMA) will be running a weekend of talks and presentations. Our replica Great War trenches will be garrisoned by British and German troops and conducted tours will be available throughout both days from 10.00am to 4.00pm.
