Chapel of the Sacred Heart
Heritage Open Day: The only remaining part of the Convent of the Visitation, this Grade II listed chapel was designed in 1881 in Gothic style by Peter Paul Pugin and Cuthbert Pugin, but not completed until 1890. The nuns left Walmer in 1971, but the chapel was retained in St Thomas’s Parish.
