Wheatley Windmill
Heritage Open Day: A fully restored stone tower windmill dating from at least 1760. Sails will be run subject to weather. Additionally, a unique nineteenth century portable mill will be demonstrated to produce flour. Oxford Silver Band performance Refreshments This unusual octagonal shape stone built windmill dates from at least 1760 and has recently been equipped with new sails following storm damage sustained in 2021. visitors are able to tour the interior and view the mechanism, much of which is original. The Mill is one of only two working mills in Oxfordshire and is used to produce flour, some of which may be available to visitors. Subject to weather and wind, the mill sails will be run during the day.
