Dorking United Reformed Church: 'Walking the Way' display
Heritage Open Day: Dorking United Reformed Church are pleased to be opening up our buildings and gardens for a chance to view the various displays that have built up over the 'Walking the Way' theme the church has been following for the last few months. Dorking United Reformed Church regularly follow themes, inviting people and groups of all ages to join in activities, reflections and displays connected to them. The current 'Walking the Way' theme fits perfectly with this year's Heritage Weekend theme of 'Connections, Routes and Networks'. The Way was a name given to the very early Christian Church, and Jesus described himself as 'The Way, (the truth and the life)' - the same word for both a group of people and the person they follow.
