Heritage Open Day: Jack and Alice restaurant is located in Town Hall Buildings. Never used as a town hall, this range of buildings was remodelled in the 1930s to form a focal point of Farnham's town centre. This was originally part of Town Hall Buildings, a range of buildings from the 1860s extending to the corner of Castle Street. It was rebuilt in about 1934 by the Farnham architect Harold Falkner in a style which imaginatively reflects the Georgian architecture in The Borough and Castle Street.
There will be a display of Falkner's architectural drawings of the remodelling.
