Heritage Open Day: Grade 1 listed building. Jacobean almshouse, still in use for its original purpose. Founded in 1619 by George Abbot, Archbishop of Canterbury and a translator of the King James bible.
There are currently 27 residents.
Short guided tours of 17th Century courtyard, chapel and Common Hall.
