Heritage Open Day: Explore Brookwood Cemetery one of the most significant heritage assets in the Borough of Woking. It is a Grade I listed Park and Garden, set in 220 acres of landscaped grounds, rich in architecture, ecology, horticulture and history. Celebrating 170 years since opening, this is a chance to explore the beautiful grounds and learn about the history of the cemetery.
View inside the mausoleums and visit the exhibition and Chapel of St Edward Brotherhood, the exhibition at the Trench Experience and the St James Gardens reburial site.
Take a short ride on the Mizens Railway - A passenger carrying miniature railway.
There will be an opening ceremony for letters to heaven at 11am.
