Heritage Open Day: An exhibition of local arts and crafts from the Liskeard Market Makers which is inspired by the rich mining heritage of Liskeard. This is a one off event showcasing beautiful local artwork/crafts. The Liskeard Market Makers are a collective of local artists and makers who share the same passion for creating, painting and crafting. The display is themed on the links Liskeard has with its mining heritage and as such the exhibits we hope will reflect and celebrate this in an artistic way.
The location, Woodhill Manor, was built on the site of an ancestral home of the Marke family after being burnt down in the 1800s.
