Heritage Open Day: A special exhibition of maps centred on Bampton, Devon from 1579 to the present day with displays about Turnpikes, Mail Coaches and the Railway. On September 6th and 7th from 1100 to 1600, join us at Bampton Heritage & Visitor Centre, situated within St Michael & All Angels church. You will be able to view our large portfolio map collection, with maps dating from 1579 to the present day, on public display for two days only. Together with information and images about Turnpikes, Mail Coaches and the Railway you will find a fascinating and comprehensive exploration of our Routes, Networks and Connections.
