Heritage Open Day: Visit the magnificent Winterbourne Medieval Barn as we celebrate our 20th year of Heritage Open Days. Explore the site, view original medieval timbers and speak to our tour guides about its history: from medieval to modern. We are delighted to be taking part in the Heritage Open Days Festival for our 20th year! This event marks the anniversary of the first ever event to be put on at our site and we are so proud of how much we have achieved since then...and to still be taking part in this nationwide festival. Winterbourne Medieval Barn, built in 1342, is a unique surviving example of a great medieval Barn built by a gentry family.
